Taxus House

Taxus House is a 49 unit apartment building located where Denny St and Madison Ave meet. It is steps away from the new Rapid Ride G, the Madison Ave Bus Rapid Transit project currently being built.

The predominant unit type is an “eco 1 Bedroom”, an ecologically and environmentally efficient one bedroom apartment. Eco 1 bedrooms are about 325sf in size, and have a full bedroom and living room with windows in each.

Taxus House is being built on the site of a former work release site. 20-25 percent of the apartments will be held as affordable and will be affirmatively marketed to disadvanteged persons.
